One major issue with the latest update to Shopify's native filtering is that when you use the "product option" (size, color, etc) the results show both products that are in-stock and out of stock.

This can be frustrating for shoppers who filter a collection to only show a specific size or color only to click on a result and see that it's sold out in the size or color they had filtered by.  

Currently that only option is to add a separate "Availability" filter and hope that shoppers can figure out that they need to use both filters together in order to only see available products.

This customization solves the issue using the power of Shopify FLOW to create a custom Workflow that will provide product option filtering that only shows in-stock products.  No 3rd party apps (only the free Shopify Flow app) are necessary.

Now, when customers filter by size, color, or other options they will only see products currently available.  The Workflow continuously runs in the background to ensure that as product variants come in and out of stock the filtering results are always up to date.

Please note that the pricing depends on which theme you are using and whether it has been updated to include the new Shopify native filtering.  Older themes or custom filtering requests like merging option values into one filtering value will add additional time/cost.
