Store speed defines how quickly your customers can shop on your website and may directly impact conversion rates. With this service, I will ensure your website is optimized for speed to ensure your users have no issues in getting what they want quickly.

Step 1. Analyse - I will run tests on your website to identify any major issues that could be impacting your page speed. I use the latest version of Google Lighthouse and GTMetrix to ensure an accurate level of data is found so I can deliver a successful service. The next step will be to analyze your store's code including any apps that you have installed/uninstalled. To identify which apps are having the biggest impact on speed and to remove any code left from uninstalled apps.

Step 2 Optimization -  I will go through all the highlighted issues gathered from Google Lighthouse and fix/optimize all actionable errors provided by the results. Some optimization tasks are as follows:

80% of speed is affected by the Shopify header and 20% by theme files. the Shopify header code blocks the main website from rendering. I'll asynchronously load the header so, it doesn't block the main website from loading and ultimately speed up your website.

Some scripts in the theme are also blocking your website from loading and decreasing speed, I will optimize them and reduce the third-party code block.
